Austin General Contracting is a General Contractor / Subcontracting company, formed in February 2005 by Michael Austin. Our team of dedicated employees has extensive experience in the construction business. We are a full service commercial builder self-performing many aspects of the project resulting in a more predictable schedule and tightly managed project, and minimizing additional markups.

The services we provide our clients range from tenant improvements, demolition to building/remodeling of hotels and casinos and projects from the ground up. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of customer service, always striving to exceed our clients’ expectations. We enjoy an excellent reputation in commercial building through thoughtful planning, excellent communication skills, effective controls and timely service.

We maintain a workforce between 175-800 employees that make up our team and are also affiliated with Nevada Contractors Association. We have the ability to support a minority diversified program through all aspects of construction when required.

Michael Austin

President & Founder

Michael Austin has extensive hands-on construction experience that enables him to stay actively involved in overseeing the daily operations in all aspects of the corporation. He works closely with all employees to ensure that the clients’ goals and objectives are identified and properly implemented. Mike has been in the trades for over 25 years, previously working for one of the largest general contractors in Las Vegas.

Michael Stella

Director of Finance

Stella

Michael Stella has been with the company since 2007. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Nevada. He has more than 20 years in the Accounting and Finance field and has experience in the following industries; public accounting, utilities, software, travel and construction. Michael currently manages all aspects of the Accounting department.

Shawn Coffin

VP of Pre-Construction

Shawn Coffin comes to AGC with over 25 years experience. Working his way through the industry, Shawn held positions as a Framer, Framing Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Estimator, and Chief Estimator for general contracting firms. He has also been a Pre-Construction Director, Pre-Construction Senior Director, and Senior Director of Construction Services on the owners side.
